Krisztina Varga (Assistant Professor, Psychology) received a BS in Psychology from Virginia Tech and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Krisztina began her teaching career at the University of Georgia as a graduate student, during which time she taught both traditional and non-traditional students. Following her graduate training, she accepted a Visiting Professor position at JMU and is starting a tenure-track position in the fall. Krisztina teaches Lifespan Human Development in the General Education Program and also teaches courses for Psychology majors. Her scholarly interests are in the areas of human development, particularly cognitive development in infants and children, and team-based learning.
