    • Freshman interviews are held in the Student Success Center on the JMU campus.
    • The interviews are typically Friday and Monday in early April during the JMU Admissions' Choices programs.
  • CSP Decisions Emailed
    • Within 1-2 week(s) after all freshman CSP interviews have been conducted, applicants will be contacted regarding their final decision.
    • Preliminary financial eligibility screening only determines if applicants are able to receive an interview.
    • The interview phase of the application process determines which students are accepted into the program, pending final financial verification.
  • Student Confirmation of CSP Grant Acceptance
    • Students must accept their grant award by the deadline stated in the email decision notice.
    • Final determination of financial eligibility is made by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS). If OFAS determines that a student is not Pell Grant eligible, CSP will not be able to accept that student into the program.
