The LNX-5110 is a quick capture reader for dining, retail, or student activity locations (such a the recycle mug flag). The reader is designed to interface with the Card Services system. Optimally the LNX-5110 operate on-line with the system, debiting or crediting accounts as the transactions occur. Should the readers lose communication with the system (meaning it goes off-line), they can continue to operate and collect transactions and write them to it's memory. Each LNX-5110 can hold up to 3000 off-line transactions. When communication is restored the transactions are automatically sent to the system for processing.
The following is a list of possible messages that you might see on the screen of the LNX-5110. When the message pertains to an error a possible solution will be given on how to fix the error. Keep in mind when you see XX this stands for any number.
If the solutions below do not fix your problem or if you have questions please contact Card Services at 540-568-6446.
