
JAC Card readers are available for rent to allow organizations on campus to accept flex for fund raisers, non-food sales, and activities.
In order to be eligible for a reader your organization must do the following:
• Card Services no less than 10 business days notice.
• a Rental form from Card Services and return with dates and times required, Department Head or Event Sponsor's signature, and proper contact information in the event that more information is needed about the rental.
Doing the above does not guarantee that your organization will get the rental. All rentals are subject to availability and weather. Rentals are also at the discretion of Card Services.
There is a 25 dollar a day fee for every rental.

Procedures for use of Card Reader
After your rental is approved you will need to come to Card Services the day of use to pick up the unit. At this time you will be trained on how to use the reader. Card readers can only be used at the following locations.
• Showker Lobby
• The commons
• UREC Welcome area (near the climbing wall)
• East Ball Room desk at the College Center (accross from Events and conferences office)
Due to security reasons off-line locations are no longer available. Rentals can only be made for the above locations.
If the location you have setup requires an extension cord it is *REQUIRED* that each group provide their own three prong cord for the rental. If none can be found Events and Conferences can provide the needed cords.
