Resume Review Opportunities
Resume Writing Workshops - Nervous about writing your resume? Don’t sweat it, this workshop will teach you step by step, everything you need to know! This is a great starting point as you're trying to put a resume together.
Resume Express - These are specified days when Career & Academic Planning is open for walk-in resume reviews.
Reviewers will spend 10 minutes giving feedback, and expect you to have a final draft to work with. If you need more than 10 minutes to discuss your resume, call 568-6555 to make a resume review appointment. See our calendar (link below) for dates and times of Resume Express this semester.
Resume Roundup - Resume Round-Up is an event where you can have an employer review your resume in a relaxed environment with a western theme! You don't need an appointment, just walk in during the hours of the event. You'll be assigned to meet with an employer representative for approximately 15 minutes, and receive helpful feedback on your resume from the employer's point of view. Past employer participants have included Deloitte, CGI, Ernst & Young, American Woodmark, Target, Johnson Lambert & Co., KPMG, Grafton, Inc., and Apex Systems. Every year this event has been a tremendous hit for both students and employers alike.
Individual Resume Review Appointments - Set up a 30 minute individual appointment for initial or final drafts by calling 568-6555.
