Steps to Getting Started on MadisonTRAK
STEP 1: Attend "Making the Most of MadisonTRAK"
These workshops teach you how to register, create a profile, and load your resume on MadisonTRAK. You must attend one the MadisonTRAK workshops to complete the registration process. Workshop times are listed on the Career and Academic Planning calendar. Please note- MadisonTRAK workshops will no longer be offered after March 26th. Contact madisontrak@jmu.edu if you have questions about creating an account towards the end of the semester.
STEP 2: Fill Out the Authorization Form
Fill out the Authorization Form available at a MadisonTRAK presentation and submit it to MadisonTRAK personnel in attendance.
STEP 3: Create a Profile
Click on the MadisonTRAK log-in. In the first time user box type the word "madison." The profile you will need to complete will then pop up on the screen. It will take about 10 minutes to complete. Use the MonsterTRAK FAQ Page for reference.
STEP 4: Upload Your Resume
After your MadisonTRAK account has been activated, enter the username and password you created under Registered Student Login. After you log on, you can submit and review your resume and search the database for employment opportunities. Remember to view your Personal Reminders frequently in order to fully participate in various job search related events for which you may have registered.
