Considering Graduate School? How to Get Started

If grad school is an option for you after JMU, this workshop will help you determine where to begin the process; what factors to consider; how to proceed; and where to look for more information.
Graduate & Professional School Information Fair
October 4, 11am-3pm, Festival Conference & Student Center
Representatives from a variety of graduate programs and schools will be available to provide you with information. Law schools will be attending this event. Click here for more information.
Kaplan’s Practice Test Drive
October 7, 1-6pm, location TBA
This is your chance to take see how you might score on a standardized test. Come take a FREE practice test of the GRE, MCAT, GMAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT. Registration is required due to limited space! Call 1-800-KAPTEST or go to www.kaptest.com/practice.
If you register by phone, mention that you want to take "a free [specify GRE, MCAT, GMAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT]practice test as part of the Kaplan Test Drive at James Madison University ".
If you register online, follow these steps:
1. Choose the test you would like to take. Options for JMU event are GRE, MCAT, GMAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT.
2. Type in JMU zip code: 22807. Click "Go" button.
3. Click "Sign Up" button. You will be asked for contact information to create a Kaplan account.
Note: scores will be distributed on October 9th, time TBA, Wilson 306, so save that date too!

This program will address the preparations needed to prepare you for graduate or professional program interviews.
