Transcripts
Your college transcript outlines your academic
progress, courses selected and grades/GPA which result from
your efforts. Graduate applications will require that an "Official"
transcript be sent, which means it comes directly from the
Registrar's Office, rather than being sent directly from you.
The registrar has a Transcript Request Form which you can
print, complete, and turn in to the Registration Center in
Warren Hall.
Visit www.jmu.edu/registrar/transcripts.shtml to access the form. Transcript Request Forms require a signature,
so they cannot be completed online. You can submit your printed
request through mail, fax or in person. Be sure to verify
receipt of your transcript, or any other application materials,
with the schools to which you are applying. Doing so will
insure that all your needed materials have arrived, and give
you time to resubmit a request if necessary.
