Scheduling an Appointment
- Sign in using the login information above. Click the "Request an Appointment" button on the right hand side of the screen under "Career Tools and Advising".
- If prompted, fill in the required information to complete your profile. On Personal tab- phone and address; on Academic tab- applicant type; on Privacy tab- review your settings and agree to authorization statement.
The first time you log in, you are also encouraged to change your password.
- Let us know the appointment type (see descriptions above), and then choose an appointment by counselor name or by time. (Note: If you are an Undeclared student with an advisor in Career & Academic Planning and you have advising questions, choose "Meet with my CAP Academic Advisor" as the appointment type and your advisor's name as the counselor.)
- On the calendar grid, your options will be highlighted in purple. Choose a date and time that works well for your schedule.
- In the "What would you like to talk about?" section, write a brief description of what you would like to discuss. This will help your counselor prepare. Click "Submit Request".
- Your request has now been submitted to the receptionist for approval; it is still a tentative appointment until you receive a confirmation email. Confirmations go out at 8am each morning for appointments booked the prior day after 5pm, and then throughout the day during business hours as they are received.
