GPA Calculators
Do you know how to calculate your current GPA?
Do you know what grades you will need in each class to get your GPA up to a certain level?
Knowing how to calculate your semester GPA and total/cumulative GPA will help you to plan for your academic progress and better assess realistic academic goals to help you get there.
All of the GPA calculators linked below base their calculations on the following grid of numeric values or "quality points".
The exception is when you have a grade of CR, NC, I, NP, or when you've repeated a class through "repeat forgive"- this makes calculating your GPA more complicated. If you have any of these grades on your transcript, consult with an academic advisor to learn how this impacts your GPA. And remember - if you have a WP, WF, or W, these classes should not be included when you use the GPA calculators because withdrawals do not impact your GPA. When in doubt, it is always a good idea to double check your calculations with your academic advisor to make sure that they are accurate.
