Courses: Organisms (BIO 114)
My thesis research was an investigation of spatial use by red squirrels, Tamiasciurus hudsonicus, in lower Michigan. Although I no longer actively research mammals, they are still my primary area of interest. I have been teaching and coordinating Introductory Biology labs for the last 20 years. In addition to teaching in the Organisms course I also coordinate all of the Organisms labs. On a voluntary basis, I lead elementary student groups in various Biology activities.
