Research Interests:  Influence of Mammalian Grazers and Understory Vegetation on Patterns of Forest Regeneration.

I conduct manipulative field experiments to assess the interactions among plants and animals that influence the abundance and distribution of both tree seedlings and herbaceous plants on the forest floor. I also investigate sexual selection in flowering plants.
