Courses: Organisms Lab and Lecture (BIO114), Ecology and Evolution Lab (BIO124), Human Physiology Lab (BIO270), Evolutionary Analysis (BIO404), Undergraduate Research (BIO497)
Research Interests: Comparative reproduction and physiology, evolution, wildlife conservation I have a longstanding fascination with reproduction and how to apply our understanding of physiological processes towards improving human health, wildlife conservation and domestic animal welfare. I use a transdisciplinary approach combining evolutionary/theoretical, ecosystem/environmental, species/population, macroscopic/organismal and cellular/molecular methodologies. My current research focuses mainly on sex allocation in vertebrates (including humans) and involves collaborations in the USA and New Zealand, with related projects on wildlife endocrinology and science education.
