Faculty, Staff, and Students

Faculty

Faculty members have dual appointments in the Department of Graduate Psychology and CARS. They teach and mentor masters-level and Ph.D. students, conduct research, write grants, and facilitate assessment for general education, academic majors, and student affairs.

Staff

The support staff at CARS execute the daily operations of the department, as well as assist faculty and students with the bi-annual Assessment Days on campus. Fiscal maintenance and academic progress are monitored and facilitated by these staff members.

Current Students

Both full and part-time students are involved in numerous research projects in addition to taking one to four classes each semester. Many full-time students are also graduate assistants, working with faculty members on assessment projects within and outside of the JMU community.

Program Graduates

Graduates of the Assessment and Measurement Ph.D. program are successfully working in assessment-related positions throughout the country.
