The JMU Provost Award for Excellence in Assessment

The Assessment Advisory Council and the Center for Assessment and Research Studies are pleased to support the Provost Award for Excellence in Assessment. Each year, one academic program is identified for exemplary assessment practice.  All academic programs are eligible for award consideration. The Assessment Advisory Council reviews the annual Assessment Progress Template reports, ratings, and profiles of all degree granting programs to identify the award recipient.  The award winning program receives the recognition plaque and a small honorarium at the Provost’s Awards Reception in April.
