Assessment Progress Template

What is an Assessment Progress Template (APT)?

The purpose of the template is to provide the most current assessment-related information for each of JMU's academic programs. A separate template is completed for each academic and certificate program offered at JMU.

When are the APTs due?

The APT is to be submitted by the program with DEPT. HEAD APPROVAL on or before June 1.

Can I draft the APT in Microsoft Word first and then copy and paste into the APT submission system?

YES! We highly recommend it. Similar to submitting an online conference proposal, it’s a good idea to draft the APT in Word first and then copy and paste the final version (i.e., a version that your dept. head will review) via the website listed above. In Word it is easier to edit and work with others. Additionally, the Word document can serve as your own backup.

How do I get help with the APT?
