
The EJC Arboretum, hosts the annual Children's Harvest Festival, October 17th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, in the Frances Plecker Ed Center and on the arboretum grounds. The fun can be ramped up for elementary school age children who want to come wearing festive harvest costumes! There will be all sorts of fun activities at this festival which including carriage rides for hire with a reservation, trail exploration, art and craft activities, a story time with… the Gus Bus. Your child can join in harvesting nuts from the arboretum’s trees, and hear JMU music students demonstrate their instruments and perform, or take part in a guided tour, and more! |
