Swamp Sparrow — Melospiza georgiana

Note the heavy brown breast streaks confluent into a large dark central breast spot. The bird often pumps its tail when it flies. This sparrow is common and seen in thickets, brush, marshes, roadsides and gardens. It nests from Canada south to northern Georgia, moving further south in winter months.
