Summer Tanager — Piranga rubra

The male summer tanager's head and body are a rose-read color with dark edges on the wing and teal feathers. The female and immature male are dull gray-yellow below and an olive color above with greeish gray wing and tail feathers. The summer tanager is often found along borders, in deciduous forests, and pine woods in lower elevations.
