Northern Parula — Setophaga americana

This small warbler is blue gray above with a greenish patch on the upper back and two white wing bars. The throat and chest are a bright yellow with a darker orange band across the chest. The female looks grayer with less bright markings. This warbler is very active and usually found high in the tree tops, often at the tips of branches. It nests throughout most of the eastern United States.
