Birds of the Arboretum

This website is a collaborative effort between James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, and the Rockingham County Bird Club to provide a community ornithological asset for bird clubs, hobbyist birders, students, members of the community at large, and the many visitors that come to the arboretum. The specific aim of this consortium is to provide an accurate depiction of the avian presence in the EJC Arboretum. Within the 125 acres owned and maintained by the arboretum, there are 116 identified species of transient, seasonal, and permenant residents within the green space and Oak-Hickory forest.
