Alumni Groups

With Dukes all over the world, it’s easy to find an alumni group in your area. Get involved with your local alumni group to reconnect with old classmates, make new friends, stay connected with the university, and enjoy social, educational and service events. Find an alumni group.  

ALUMNI GROUPS ARE CATEGORIZED INTO THREE GROUPS

Regional Alumni Chapters Groups of JMU alumni that live within the same geographic region.  
Non-Regional Alumni Chapters Groups of JMU alumni with similar interests, hobbies or undergraduate experiences that are not geographically based.
Regional Ambassadors JMU alumni who represent a geographic region in areas where there are not realistically enough alumni to have an entire chapter.

NOT AN OFFICIAL ALUMNI GROUP BUT NEED HELP PLANNING AN ALUMNI EVENT?

The OAR will provide you with the following:
* Contact List - List of names and email addresses of appropriate contacts for event.
* Blast Email - One email will be sent to your contact list. The text must be provided by the event coordinator.
* Online Registration - Event participants may register online. The OAR will provide you with your own registration link, accessible though the Alumni Relations website. Guests can register and/or pay for the event by credit card using this method. The OAR does charge a processing fee for online registration. (Credit Card fee= Total charged income * .03 + Total number of credit card transactions * .15).
