For the JMU Centennial celebration, uniquely painted versions of the Duke Dog Statue will be on display throughout JMU and Harrisonburg. The JMU Alumni Association has three Duke Dogs in honor of our alumni on display in the Leeolou Alumni Center. Read about the Duke Dog statues
With Dukes all over the world, it’s easy to find an alumni group in your area. Get involved with your local alumni group to reconnect with old classmates, make new friends, stay connected with the university, and enjoy social, educational and service events.
Alumni groups are organized into four categories:
Regional Alumni Chapters: Regionally-based groups where at least 200 JMU alumni live.
Non-Regional Alumni Chapters: Groups of JMU alumni with similar interests, hobbies or undergraduate experiences that are not geographically based.
Spirit Cities: Regionally-based groups where fewer than 200 JMU alumni live.
Dukes Around the World: Regionally-based groups where a small number of JMU alumni live.
