In 2004, Kathleen Huband (JMU '05) a graduate from Mills E. Godwin H.S., and
Jenny Isom from Chester (JMU '05) were winners of $1,000 scholarships.

The JMU Alumni Chapter of Richmond is looking for volunteers who want to serve on the chapter's scholarship committee. This is your chance to give back to JMU in a very meaningful way.

All rising seniors from the greater Richmond area are eligible for
the scholarship that is awarded annually by the JMU Alumni Chapter of Richmond. Applications are emailed to all eligible students late Spring of their Junior year, for a gift to be made during the Fall Semester of their Senior year.
The scholarship committee meets in Richmond in late Spring after all
applications are received back from students.
This committee reviews the applications and determines who will be awarded the scholarship money.
