Fannie Mae Foundation Help the Homeless Walkathon - Washington,
DC
Join us on November 22nd for the Fannie Mae Foundation Help
the Homeless Walkathon. All JMUers will be registered as guests
of Fannie Mae employee Megan Cech ('04), thereby waiving the
$15 registration fee. Also Fannie Mae will donate $50 to the
Foundation in the name of each person we bring to the Walkathon,
so the more Dukes and friends that join us, the better! Plus
you get a cool long sleeve t-shirt!
For more than 20 years, the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless
Program has brought together caring and committed individuals
to work toward preventing and ending homelessness in our region.
This year, it is estimated that there are nearly 12,000 people
in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area who are homeless.
Together, we can help solve this issue. All it takes is a
few hours of your time. Please join tens of thousands of your
neighbors for the 21st Annual Help the Homeless Walkathon.
