For the JMU Centennial celebration, uniquely painted versions of the Duke Dog Statue will be on display throughout JMU and Harrisonburg. The JMU Alumni Association has three Duke Dogs in honor of our alumni on display in the Leeolou Alumni Center. Read about the Duke Dog statues

The Leeolou Alumni Center, completed in 2002, is a 19,000 square-foot facility named for benefactors and 1978 graduates Steve and Dee Dee Leeolou. It serves as the focal point for alumni activities at JMU. Constructed primarily from private contributions, the alumni center houses the Office of Alumni Relations as well as the JMU Office of Development. The primary function of the alumni center is to support the mission of the JMU Division of University Advancement and the JMU Alumni Association.

Directions: The Leeolou Alumni Center is connected to the College Festival Center and is located east of Interstate 81, where the university’s science corridor is being developed and where a new library is under construction.

From I-81 take Exit 245 (Port Republic Rd.).
At the top of the exit ramp, go West toward Harrisonburg and immediately get in the far right lane.
The campus entrance via Bluestone Drive is your first RIGHT. Pass Newman Lake and Bridgeforth Stadium on your left.
Take your next RIGHT onto Carrier Drive and cross over I-81. Take your next RIGHT onto Alumni Drive.
The Leeolou Alumni Center is directly ahead. Visitor parking* for the Leeolou Alumni Center is available in front of the center.

Stop in the Office of Alumni Relations to receive an Alumni Center visitor parking pass.

Volunteer Spotlight Kelly Warren ('00)

In April, Kelly Warren (’00) led the Richmond Alumni Chapter team in the Monument 10K, raising more than $7,500 for the Massey Cancer center.
