AG&R Goes Paperless! - Wednesday, July 28

JMU Recycling ImageIn line with JMU's directive on Environmental Sustainability, the Office of Advancement Gifts and Records made the switch from printing documents to saving them as PDF files on secure servers. This is a huge step for AG&R which has traditionally been a very heavy producer of printed documentation.

Working with numerous departments around campus, including Payroll Services and the University Foundation, and utilizing strong collaboration within AG&R, the transition has been a smooth and efficient one.

AG&R staff also contribute towards environmental sustainability with the assistance of enthusiastic Housekeeper Lea Foley. Lea has instigated a recycling program where all recyclable items and non-confidential waste paper are separated and sent to recycling services.
