BiographyMartin O’Donoghue has been with at JMU since April of 2004, and in the Office of Prospect Research since July of 2005. He manages prospect research functions, prospect management functions and special projects. Prior to his arrival at JMU, he worked in the Development Office of the McIntire School of Commerce and was a product manager of imports and exports at LEXIS NEXIS in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is an alumnus of James Madison, Class of 2000, MBA. |

Senior Prospect ResearcherMary Ann Shisler (540) 568-8048 |
BiographyMary Ann Shisler joined JMU as a Senior Prospect Researcher in April of 2009. Her primary responsibility is to research prospective donors along with special projects, including the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) report. Mary Ann has an undergraduate degree in English and a masters degree in library science from Syracuse University. Before coming to JMU, Mary Ann worked as an academic librarian and a school library media specialist. She enjoys roller blading, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two teenage sons. |

BiographyMichael joined JMU and Prospect Research in May of 2009. His primary responsibility as a prospect researcher is the identification of key prospects that may be able to assist JMU in it's philanthropic activities. Mike majored in Political Science, and earned his BA in 2004 from JMU. Mike is currently a member of The American Prospect Research Association (APRA), and provides back up support for University Advancement’s central files management, and is working to develop an updated system of operating procedures for them. |
