Administration and Finance Scholarship Recipients

The Division of Administration and Finance congratulates the following JMU students who received the Administration and Finance Scholarships for 2011-2012:

Rebekah Colopy  
Rebekah is an incoming freshman and will graduate from Page County High School this spring.  She will major in nursing and is the daughter of Mark Colopy, Fixed Assets and Surplus Property.

Brandon Drury  
Brandon is a sophomore majoring in Engineering.  He also assists the JMU Football Program with Team Telecommunications. Brandon is the son of Darren Drury, PC Services. 

Megan Hinton 
Megan is an incoming freshman and will major in International Affairs.  Megan will graduate from Broadway High School, this spring.  She is the daughter of Diane Hinton of Fixed Assets and Surplus Property.

Brett Layman 
Brett is a senior majoring in computer science.  Brett has worked with the Office of Public Safety since 2006.  He is the son of Patty Layman, Office of Public Safety.

Amy Leeth 
Amy is a sophomore majoring in Athletic Training. She has worked in Accounts Payable and completed a mentorship program.  Amy is the daughter of Tish Leeth, Finance Support.

Julie Sjostrom 
Julie is a sophomore at the university and majoring in Spanish and International Affairs.   Julie is the niece of Mary Williams, International Accounting.

Samantha Somers
Samantha is an incoming freshman majoring in Health Science, pre-pharmacy.  She will graduate from Stonewall Jackson High School and is the daughter of Kreg Somers, Facilities Management.

Emily Spart
Emily is a junior majoring in social work and with a concentration in substance abuse.  She is the daughter of Debra Spart, Office of Public Safety.

Ashley Sponaugle 
Ashley graduated from Spotswood High School and Blue Ridge Community College.  Ashley will major in International Affairs.  She is the cousin of Gwen Armentrout, University Business Office.

Jessica Wright 
Jessica graduated from Page County High School and Blue Ridge Community College.  Jessica will major in Geographic Science.  She is the daughter of Sherry Wright, Athletics.
