Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Dual Enrollment Credit



If you took exams in high school for advanced placement and international baccalaureate courses, you may receive JMU credit for some courses depending upon your scores.

To view a list of international baccalaureate courses, JMU equivalents and required scores, refer to the international baccalaureate course chart in the admission section of the undergraduate catalog.

Copies of your official AP and IB score reports must be sent to the JMU Office of the Registrar before JMU credit will be awarded (see address below).

If you took dual enrollment courses in high school for which there is a JMU equivalent course, you must have a copy of your official transcript sent to the JMU Office of the Registrar for evaluation before JMU credit will be awarded.  Transcripts can be sent to
