As an admitted student to James Madison University, I pledge to abide by the Honor code http://www.jmu.edu/honor/code.shtml#TheHonorCode of this institution. I will conduct myself in a mature and respectful manner. During my visit to James Madison University, I will attend all programs set on the agenda. I will not leave designated campus areas at any point over this weekend’s visit. There will be no alcohol or illegal items in my possession during my visit. If I am found in violation of anything stipulated in the pledge, I understand my visit on the campus of James Madison University will be terminated immediately.

I also recognize, as with any activity, there is no guarantee that this university sponsored program is free of risk or personal injury, property damage or loss. With this understanding, I release the Commonwealth of Virginia, JMU, and its agents and employees from responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss of possessions which may occur during this weekend.
