Trouble logging in to MyMadison?
  • Activating your JMU Electronic ID:
    • To activate your JMU Electronic ID (e-ID): View the YouTube video created to walk through how to activate your account. Visit Self-Help to request a new Account Activation Link. A computer generated email will then be sent to the email address on file.
    • If after entering your JMU e-ID and password you receive an error message, this is an indication that your e-ID may not be activated.

  • Forgot your password?
    • Admitted Students: 
      • Paid your tuition deposit? Click on the "Forgot your password?" link
      • Haven't paid your tuition deposit? Click on "Applicant forgot password?" link
    • Applicants: Click on the "Applicant forgot password?" link. If you receive the "An error occurred" message when resetting your password, it is most likely because you have not activated your JMU e-ID.
