Fall 2008 Open Houses

University Studies

November 8, 2008

University Studies at James Madison University coordinates and supports campus-wide programs that enhance intellectual development and foster the enlightened citizenship of all undergraduates.  University Studies is the home of the General Education Program, the foundational curriculum in liberal arts and sciences that is required of all students.  We especially invite students who have not yet made a decision about their prospective major to the University Studies open house.  Programs will provide an introduction to the General Education Program, the Honors Program, and to the programs provided by JMU to support decision-making about a major and a career.
