Directions to JMU

• Check-in is from 8am - 8:45am at the Festival Conference & Student Center (1301 Carrier Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22807)
• The Open House program will begin at 9am at various locations throughout campus.
• Shuttle buses will be provided for on-campus transportation to Open House program areas from 8am - 5pm.
• Please note that Saturday's Open House begins promptly at 9am and will conclude at approximately 3pm.

From the North

Take I-81 S and get off at Exit 245. Turn left at the light onto Port Republic Road and get into the left lane. At the 2nd stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Rd. At the stop sign, make a left onto Oak Hill Drive. Oak Hill becomes University Boulevard. Pass the JMU Convocation Center on your left and the Arboretum entrance on your right. Make a left onto Carrier Drive at the JMU sign and the Festival Conference & Student Center is 0.25 mile on the left. Open House parking is available on the right, across from the Festival Conference & Student Center in lots D-3, C-11, and C-12.

From the South

Take I-81 N and get off at Exit 247A onto Rt. 33 - East Market Street towards Elkton. At the second stoplight, turn right onto University Boulevard. Go through three traffic lights, crossing over Reservoir Street at the third light. Make a right onto Carrier Drive and the Festival Conference & Student Center is 0.25 mile on the left. Open House parking is available on the right, across from the Festival Conference & Student Center in lots D-3, C-11, and C-12.
