- Alternative Fuels Lab
- Provides the opportunity for students to study advanced fuel technologies and gain experience in the use of renewable and alternative fuels.
- Geographic Science Spatial Analysis General Lab
- A computer lab for the visualization of geographic data using advanced GIS software.
- Energy Lab
- Observe from HHS First Floor window
Used to study conventional and alternative energy production, as well as methods for improving energy efficiency. Observe demonstrations of infrared and alternative energy. - Biomanufacturing Lab
- Has capabilities for cloning and expressing foreign genes and microbial systems, pilot scale fermentation, protein purification and analytical testing of biological molecules.
- Microfabrication Lab
- A cleanroom housing equipment for the fabrication and characterization of thin film materials, microelectronic devices, micromechanical devices and sensors.
- Human Performance Lab
- Provides the opportunity to study the parameters of human performance in a state-of-the-art research facility.
- “Hands on Science”
- A classroom designed to provide supplies for K-12 science teachers and their students, ultimately serving as a resource center for science teacher preparation.
- Saltwater Aquarium
- Nursing/Skills Lab
- This room contains 10 hospital beds, allowing for students to obtain clinical skills associated with development of patient care in a hospital setting.
- Product Realization Lab
- Provides metal and plastic prototype parts manufacturing for proof-of-concept testing for government and industry.
- Engineering and Manufacturing Lab
- Presents key issues in global manufacturing. The laboratory’s centerpiece is a computer integrated manufacturing system.
