Centennial Scholars Program

  • The Centennial Scholars Program (CSP) was established in March 2004. The program is rooted in JMU's commitment to serving the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia in a fair and equitable manner. JMU also acknowledges the importance to our nation that minorities and other under-represented segments of the population pursue higher education.

Center for Multicultural Student Services (CMSS)

  • The Center for Multicultural Student Services celebrates diversity by heightening awareness and educating our constituents regarding ethnic diversity.

Multicultural Ambassadors

  • Our representatives are committed to the improvement and advancement of the current multicultural population at James Madison University. These students work with prospective students to assist them with the admissions process. Take some time to meet this year's Multicultural Ambassadors.

Students for Minority Outreach

  • Students for Minority Outreach is a student organization focused on promoting James Madison University as a progressive and ethnically diverse institution of higher education. We foster a balance between leadership, social and academic development among prospective and present minority students. Students for Minority Outreach provides programming assistance involving James Madison University students who encourage prospective students to attend this university.

Ventures Scholars Program

  • The Ventures Scholars Program is a national membership program designed to promote access to higher education. The Ventures Scholars Program identifies high achieving underrepresented and first-generation college-bound students interested in pursuing math- and science- based careers and provides academic recognition, information and resources needed to help them successfully pursue their career goals.
