Centennial Scholars Program

The objective of the Centennial Scholars Program is to diversify the student population of JMU by increasing the number of under-represented students who enroll and graduate from James Madison University in a timely manner. The program will provide the following opportunities to participants throughout their academic experience at JMU.

  • Provide financial assistance to qualified students

  • Build students' confidence in their academic and leadership abilities so that they can manage and resolve challenges at JMU and beyond

  • Foster skills to work productively and creatively in an increasingly racially diverse world.
