What is your favorite aspect of JMU: The level of opportunity that is here for all students. You can achieve anything you want here in the classroom and outside of the classroom.
What advice would you give to students considering JMU: Soar Above and Beyond Expectations!

Join a club or group as soon as you can! It’s not like high school where you make friends in class.

Why did you choose JMU?: I chose JMU after seeing how friendly the people attending JMU are and how beautiful the campus was after visiting for summer band camp.
What is your favorite aspect of JMU?: My favorite aspect of JMU is the feeling of home. The people here make me feel welcome, and that's always a good feeling.
What advice would you give students considering JMU?: To any prospective student, realize that your purpose for attending college is to gain more knowledge of our diverse universe and to be able to bring that knowledge to reality. No matter how hard college life may seem, just remind yourself of your goal and stick to it. The best blessing that God has given us in life is confidence in self, so use it! You can do it :)

What is your favorite aspect of JMU?: The Integrated Science and Technology major and the friendliness of students, staff and employees.
What advice would you give prospective students considering JMU?: Be on campus as much as possible to learn more about the JMU culture.

Why did you choose JMU?: I chose JMU because it offered a unique environment from my home. When I visited everyone was friendly and very accommodating. There are tons of different majors here and the support system for students of color, and all students for that matter, is phenomenal.
What is your favorite aspect of JMU?: The people are very down to earth. Everyone seems willing to help one another.
What advice would you give prospective students considering JMU?: Weigh all your options. Look at what they can offer you to help you achieve your goal of success and lastly try something different!
