Why did you choose JMU?
I have chosen James Madison University mainly because of the outstanding program that the computer science department offers. In addition, the super friendly and professional way that the Office of Admissions treated me, and how they stated clearly for me that they want me here. One more reason was the number of credits the university accepted astransfer credits. The standing of JMU among Virginia and national schools made me consider JMU seriously.
What organizations are you involved with here at JMU?
I am currently involved with Association of Computing Machinery -JMU chapter and Muslim Student Association.
What are your favorite things to do here?
I like spending some time with friends at TDU where we can get some coffee and sit and talk or play some billiards! One of the other things thatI like to do is the soccer activities that take place in the the UREC or Godwin hall. During spring and summer I don't think that there is a placemore beautiful than the quad to hang out.
Do you have advice for international students considering JMU?
If you have not decided yet, what are you waiting for? JMU is a perfect choice to gain knowledge, make friends, and observe a different culture.
