Admissions Counselor
Hi! My name is Mark Meadows, and I am the admissions counselor for your region. I am excited about this position because I attended high school in Fairfax county before attending JMU.
I graduated from JMU in 1998 with a double major in Theatre and English, then spent a few years teaching tenth and eleventh grade English. But my love for JMU brought me back to campus in the Office of Admissions, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Last Fall I started work on my Master's degree--it is great to be back in class.
My wife Tracie is also a JMU Graduate and worked in the Office of Alumni Relations until this Summer when she decided to stay home after the birth of our second child. We hope that one day our children will become JMU Dukes (unless they don't want to.)
