Undergraduate Catalog

James Madison University updates the Undergraduate Catalog each year. The catalog is distributed at orientation to all enrolling students. We understand the need for prospective students to reference our catalog during their college search and therefore have provided several options.

AP & IB Scores

International Baccalaureate Program

Participation in the International Baccalaureate Program is recognized as an indication of superior academic achievement. The appropriate academic area will review the transcript of each student with an international baccalaureate curriculum. Please refer to the International Baccalaureate course equivalent charts for more information.

IB Course Listings and Required Scores

Advanced Placement Program

The Advanced Placement program, administered by the College Board, provides an opportunity for students to complete college-level course work at secondary schools. Prospective students who complete the AP examinations are eligible to earn college credit. Please refer to the chart on the back to determine the JMU equivalent courses and required score. This chart will coincide with the 2004-2005 Undergraduate Catalog.
