Directions to parking at the Festival Conference & Student Center, lots C-12 and C-11.
From the North
Drive Interstate 81 South. Take the 245 exit, Port Republic Road off I-81. At the light, turn right onto Port Republic Road. At the next light, make a right turn into the main entrance of campus, on Bluestone Drive. At the next light, turn right onto Carrier Drive and cross the interstate bridge that connects the 2 sides of the campus. After crossing the bridge, go through two stop signs. Begin looking for parking lots C-12 and C-11, on your left. This is the lot where you are to park. The Festival Conference and Student Center is across the street. Parking permit is not required.
Campus Gates:
Traffic flow through the Bluestone section of campus is restricted by gates for service vehicles access only. Please follow the specified directions above to access your designated parking in a safe and timely manner. Shuttle bus services will be provided throughout the entire campus to accommodate your movement during your visit to JMU.
From the South
Drive I-81 North. Take the 245 exit, Port Republic Road off I-81. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Port Republic Road. Cross over I-81 and at the second light, turn right into the main entrance of campus, on Bluestone Drive. At the next light, turn right onto Carrier Drive and cross the interstate bridge that connects the 2 sides of the campus. After crossing the bridge, go through two stop signs. Begin looking for parking lots C-12 and C-11, on your left. This is the lot where you are to park. The Festival Conference and Student Center is across the street. Parking permit is not required.

From the East or West
Take Route 33 to Interstate 81 South. Follow "From the North" directions (listed above).
Overflow Parking:
Additional parking can be found in lot R-4. Continue past parking lots C-12 and C-11 on Carrier Drive. Make a left turn at the stop sign onto University Boulevard. Lot R-4 will be on your left in front of Blue Ridge Hall. From here, you may take a shuttle or walk to the Festival Conference and Student Center. Parking permit is not required.
