Are we coming to visit you?

Education: I graduated from JMU in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I graduated from Bloomsburg University in May 2012 with a Masters of Education in Counseling.

Why I chose to attend JMU: My brother attended JMU and always spoke highly about the university. When I was able to plan a visit, I fell in love the moment I set foot on campus. The friendly community and beautiful atmosphere were what sold it for me. Attending JMU was one of the best decisions I ever made!

Advice to students selecting a college: I think it is very important to visit the colleges that you plan on applying to. While visiting each college, think about the pros and cons of each. Imagine yourself living at that university for the next four years of your life. Take into account the student to teacher ratio, distance from home, class size, organizations in which you can be involved, etc.

Favorites About JMU:

Place: Definitely the Quad. It is always full of students and you cannot beat the view!

Dining Facility: D-hall, of course! It always has a great variety of food and it is an all you can eat dining hall, so you can’t go wrong! Grilled Cheese Thursdays is one of my favorites!

Memory: Football games — school spirit is always showing at JMU, but on home game days, there is no better place to be!
