Are we coming to visit you?

Interests: Crafting, cooking, friends, family, planning my wedding, being social and JMU!!

Why I chose to attend JMU: The positive reputation JMU has was something I had grown up knowing about and knew early on that this was the place I wanted to be. The people are wonderful anywhere you go on campus and the energy and atmosphere is unlike any other place I have been. JMU is very unique, and once you experience it, you will feel at home.

What JMU means to me: JMU means a lot to me. I have had tons of life changing moments throughout my journey at JMU. I met some amazing people who have impacted me in more ways that I could describe. I met my future husband here, lifelong friends, and have accomplished all of my educational goals here. JMU is a huge part of who I am and I have been forever grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have had and continue to have here.

Favorite JMU Memory: Football games, especially the fall 2008 season and getting proposed to on campus!

Advice to students selecting a college: Knowing yourself and what you want out of your college experience is important. Do your research and visit schools that are of interest to you. Take advantage of opportunities in your area to learn about schools. Ask questions, explore and make the best decision for you!
