FACT - Finance and Administration Certificate Training
The Finance and Administration Certificate Training (FACT) is a fast-paced, six week course that covers a wide range of topics that Fiscal Contacts and/or Administrative Assistants will encounter on a daily basis in the office. This course is designed to take the information you learn in Finance Forum to the next level and is concluded with an online examination. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, each participant is individually recognized and presented with a certificate by the Assistant Vice President, Finance.

| · | Real Property | Prerequisites – Before enrolling in the class, you will need to have completed the following training classes: |
| · | Continuous employment at JMU for at least one year |
| · | IIS 201 Finance 8.8 Overview |
| · | IIS 202 Finance 8.8 Reading Reports |
| · | IIS 700 eVA Overview |
| · | Active participation in Finance Forum |

Complete the INTENT TO ENROLL FORM
Submit the Intent to Enroll Form and a print out of your J-Ess training summary (showing the completion of the above required classes) to Tish Leeth, MSC 5711.
Please Note:
Priority will be given to staff required to routinely implement procedures covered by this certification program. Applicants should not attempt to self-enroll via J–Ess. Upon acceptance into the FACT program, participants will be enrolled by the Cash & Investments Office and will be provided confirmation of enrollment via email.
