Trans Day of Remembrance – Workshop and Ceremony

Date: Tuesday, November 14

Time: 7-9 pm

Location: Madison Union Ballroom

All are welcome to our annual Trans Day of Remembrance event. This year, America in Transition will be here to screen one of their documentary episodes, A Family Matter, and facilitate their Forging Families workshop – both address the complexities of family and the importance of building a network of supportive, nourishing relationships.  America in Transition is a documentary series and community engagement campaign that explores community, family, and social issues for trans people of color across the United States. The workshop will be followed by a brief self-care break, then will resume for a remembrance ceremony.  Learn more about America in Transition, www.americaintransition.org
