Focus on: Environment

Description: Sea Base located in Islamorada, Florida is run by the Boy Scouts of America. Considered the “Sportfishing Capital of the World”, Islamorada is part of the Florida Keys watershed. Islamorada, also known as the Village of Island, is a unique and diverse environment often impacted by hurricanes and tropical storms. We are expected to do some restoration work like building boardwalks and other manual work, including beach clean-up to follow the Environmental Sustainability Program of the island. As a group, we are going to explore the diverse habitats of the ocean and the beauties of the coral reef and surrounding beach.
