JMU in university consortium to study behavior disorders JMU is part of a consortium of seven universities that has received a federal grant to establish the National Research and Development Center on Serious Behavior Disorders at the Secondary Level. Researchers will search for successful methods for educating students with behavioral or emotional problems. Madison will be one of several of the universities piloting different programs designed to reach adolescents struggling with emotional and behavioral disorders. According to JMU professor Steven W. Evans, director of the university's Alvin V. Baird Attention and Learning Disabilities Center, some of the approaches have already been helpful for students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. JMU Dining Services Takes a Green Approach In an initiative to increase environmental sustainability, JMU's D-Hall has adopted tray-less dining, a move that will save over 320,000 gallons of water each semester. Karen McCullah Lutz ('88) has a new movie, 'The House Bunny,' opening this week JMU alumna, screenwriter and executive producer Karen McCullah Lutz ('88) has a new movie, The House Bunny, opening this week. On her blog Lutz says, "It's a comedy starring Anna Faris. She plays a Playboy Bunny who gets kicked out of the mansion and becomes a housemother for a nerdy sorority. Anna is great in it, so please bring a 100 of your closest friends to go see it opening weekend!" Lutz co-wrote the movies Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You and She's the Man.
