Women's Golf: Women's Golf Fifth After 36 Holes of Cardinal Cup

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The James Madison women's golf team shot two solid rounds, including a five-shot improvement in the afternoon, and is currently fifth through 36 holes of the Cardinal Cup, Sept. 15. The two-day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by the University of Louisville, is being played at the U of L Golf Club (Par 72 – 6,223 yards) in Simpsonville, Kentucky.
James Madison Athletics welcomed Special Olympians from across Virginia for it's eighth annual Day with the Dukes Saturday morning. Student-athletes and JMU Psychology joined Special Olympians in a day full of activities leading up to the JMU football home opener against Saint Francis.

Men's Soccer: Barden's Late Goal Lifts Dukes Over Lipscomb 1-0

Senior midfielder Jonathan Barden (Harrow, England/Park) scored in the 89th minute Sunday afternoon to lead the James Madison men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Lipscomb at Rose Park in the Belmont Invitational.
